Proxy (Maximum) Bids Explained
Can't watch the whole live stream? Set a proxy bid – the most you are willing to pay for a lot. The system bids on your behalf in the standard increments, only when someone outbids you, and never goes above your maximum. If the hammer falls below your limit, you pay the hammer price, not your maximum. Proxy bids are ideal for buyers in other time zones and for busy traders following several lots at once.
Bidding Online From Outside the UAE
Buyers in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Nigeria, Georgia, Russia and Europe bid in our auctions every week. Register with your passport, pay the refundable deposit by card, follow the live stream and bid in real time or by proxy. If you win, our sister company M1 Shipping handles export documentation, customs and freight – sea, RoRo or container – with one invoice and one WhatsApp thread. Oman buyers can also visit our Oman branch or bid on UAE lots and transfer the vehicle by road.
